We were pioneers in establishing an ethical code and in placing training at the heart of professional progress.
Today, we continue to grow, bringing together a new generation of agents, advisers, and companies who share a common vision: that a prepared and united sector generates confidence and value for everyone.
1985
A purpose-driven origin.
The beginning of a new way of practising.
GIPE was founded in Málaga with an idea ahead of its time: to professionalise a sector without regulation or common standards. From the very beginning, it established ethics, training, and legal security as the pillars of the profession.
1986
The national leap.
From Málaga to the whole of Spain.
Just one year later, it obtained legal status and national recognition. GIPE began representing the profession before public administrations and official bodies.
1990
The decade of momentum.
Growth, training, and a voice in Europe.
The association organised large-scale conferences, promoted university courses, opened regional delegations, and launched a multilingual magazine. It also took part in the creation of CEI (now CEPI), strengthening its international presence.
1991
Endorsement from the Constitutional Court.
A ruling that strengthens the profession.
The Constitutional Court recognises the distinct role of the real estate manager in the face of accusations of professional intrusion.

First regional register of agents.

With the mandatory register in Catalonia, GIPE standardises accreditations, updates documentation, and provides specialised guidance to facilitate regulatory compliance.

A new chapter.

GIPE is driving real modernization: strengthening continuous training, expanding partnerships, digitising processes, and placing member support back at the centre.

Evolution with roots.
Renovated headquarters and bilingual approach.
The Málaga headquarters has been updated with a space for training and coworking. GIPE is strengthening its bilingual activity across courses, materials, and communications.

A network with an international voice.
European MMCEPI certification, recognition of competencies and quality.
The association promotes the MMCEPI certification for its members and strengthens its international presence through representation in CEPI.
